The interactive LEGO The Hobbit game allows players to play through their favorite scenes from the movies and follows Bilbo Baggins as he is recruited by the wizard Gandalf to help Thorin Oakenshield and his company of dwarves . Bilbo leaves the comfort of the Shire on a journey across Middle- earth to help the dwarves reclaim their lost kingdom of Erebor inside the Lonely Mountain . Along the way , he is introduced to voracious Trolls , Orcs and dangerous , of course Gollum and his precious ring. Players will use and combine unique skills Dwarfs - often with hilarious results - to solve the diverse missions of any LEGO game to date .
